Other than that I am not too fussy. I have tried a sony sat nav which I quite liked, but I don’t think this shows the London congestion zone.
Ideally the maps shouldn’t be too out of date.

Journeys always seem to take longer than car speedo would indicate for example, a sixty mile journey at sixty miles an hour should take an hour approx going by the car speedo it takes considerably longer.This appears to be the length of time suggested by sat nav speed.

I have a 2002 Mini Cooper S with the inbuilt, factory fitted Sat Nav system. However, the Sat Nav system is total tosh and I assume that it hasn’t been updated from the day it was originally bought in 2002.

Does anyone know if you can update the software on this system, and if so, how? I’ve looked at various web forums but can’t make hide nor hair of it all as I can’t even work out what version of the Sat Nav system I have. I’ve read you can download an update and burn it onto CD, but not sure if this applies to my version or what version I would need to download. Any help would be appreciated.
