I have been a truck driver for 12 years I have not found a satnav designed for truck drivers.
There isn’t a sat nav for truck drivers! but you can try the tom tom one which is really good and and it costs less than £150!
Save your money and buy the proper truckers map, it also gives you bridge heights !!
HI MATE CONGRATS ON YOU PASSING YOUR LGV LISCENCE THE BEST ONE OUT THERE I THINK IS A NAVMAN F20 MY BRO HAS GOT ONE IT TELLS YOU IF THERE IS A SPEED CAM THERE IS A LITTLE BEEPING NOISE WHEN YOU GO OVER 70 MPH N THERE AFTER IT GOES FASTER LOL MY BRO DID 140MPH IN A DAEWOO TACUMA 2.0L CDX MODEL HE DERESTICTED THE CAR AND IT WAS A NIPPY 2.0L I HAVE EVER BEEN IN AND YOU CAN ASK ME HOW MANY 2.0L CARS I HAVE BEEN IN N THERE IS TO MANY OCCASIONS ANYWAY BACK TO THE SAT NAV I THINK THE ONE TO GO FOR IS A NAVMAN F20 THERE THE BEST ON MARTKET FOR UNDER £100 AND WHO KNOWS MAYBE £200
The short answer is yes, I’ve seen them advertised. I wasn’t in the market for one at the time, so I didn’t take note of the makes or models. But they do exist. Expensive, though.
Afterthought - I think one of them was an RAC brand.
