unable to set up sat/nav, it keeps reverting to republic of Ireland tho it is OK for getting home.What`s wrong

whatever we do to set up sat/nav it keeps on changing to Rep of Ireland, very frustrating. It will direct us home from anywhere why won`t it direct us on an outward journey? Can it be returned to shop after two months?

Do you let it recognise where it is when you turn it on….sometimes it will go to a default setting if you just turn it on and immediately ask it to go somewhere….it may not know where it is? Just a thought…sure you can send it back….an item has to be fit for purpose and obviously it isn’t you will need the receipt though.
