I’ve been very pleased with my Garmin nuvi 350. It’s small enough to fit in my pocket, yet has all the latest features. It comes with all of North America preloaded, and online updates are quick and simple. The European City Navigator is a great extension, and greatly reduces the stress of driving in Europe, where roads are often inconsistently signed.
The 350 commands a high retail price, but is currently deeply discounted, due to the introduction of the 660. If cost is no object and/or you want a bigger screen or built-in bluetooth and real-time traffic integration, you may want to consider the 660 - just be prepared to pay a premium for the latest and greatest.
